*Sniff*, I'm totally rocking this look, I don't care what the nay-sayers say. It's a flattering cut and much easier to maintain than bangs like these. But they're right; practically everyone has them these days. As one reader put it: "I'm sick to death of side-swept bangs and waves, it's been in for so long that I'm starting to feel like I live in a sea of Giselle clones."

No. 4: Beachy Waves
Which brings us to no. 4, beachy, wavy hair. This is another style I love, but I will admit that when everyone is doing it, it loses its appeal. One reader gives us some perspective on the look: "I don't see the point of spending hours indoors with various hair products trying to look like you've just come from the beach -- that time would've been better spent actually being AT the beach, no?" Although, not to be contrary, but you can get that beachy look super quick with this how-to. I'm just sayin'

No. 5: Long Hair and Long Layers
I blame Jennifer Aniston for this one (she's been wearing this trend for years, as evidenced here). And while I will argue that this style is almost universally flattering, I'll also concede that may be its downfall -- because almost everyone in the universe has it.

No. 6: Pouffy Hairstyles
You know what I'm talking about, the half-up or ponytail styles with the big pouff on top? It's amazing how much this caught on, but maybe it's time for it to fade out, you think?

No. 7: Blonde Highlights
Who doesn't have blonde highlights these days? (Especially on the red carpet -- check it out here.) Sure, they're pretty and can add warmth and light to your face, but there are other colors out there. Check this out for a new color that'll make you stand out in the crowd for a change.
