Jill Zarin -- Worst
Bangs become a riskier and riskier proposition as we get older. Here, Zarin's bangs are too short and severe, seeming totally unrelated to the rest of her tragically '80's hairstyle. Plus, a sweetheart neckline with a rouched bust never looked good, even on "Dynasty."

Zarin's longer, softer, more graceful bangs are flattering and draw attention to her eyes. Smooth sleek hair with just a touch of wave at the ends showcases her stunning shiny haircolor. And a scoop neckline is chic and timeless.

While her hair is impressive, it is way too much for a woman of style. Too blonde. Too long. Too big. That, and her pinstriped halter jumpsuit with plunging neckline belongs in a cabaret act. Also, the "Girls Next Door" called -- they want their makeup back.

Alex McCord -- Worst
"Howdy partner. What's yer pleasure?" Seems most of the "Housewives" could use a seminar in age-appropriate dressing. Combine her dark brassy roots with a bustier that would be more at home in a saloon, and McCord is ready to join the cast of "Deadwood."

Silky straight hair and sparkling hair color make McCord look young, fresh and chic. A single-shoulder dress, in smart black and white, is sexy but classy. The bold use of black and white in her dress make McCord stand out, not stick out.

The "Real Housewives" have all the resources needed to look fabulous. Yet they frequently, and rather spectacularly, miss the mark. Here are some of the best and worst of the "Real Housewives" looks.
