Her perfect flip
To get an all-around flip, clamp hair ends into a jumbo ceramic curling iron and hold for a few seconds. You can also use a 1" flatiron (find a good one here), flipping your wrist outward as you reach the ends of your hair. Set the flip with a strong-hold, flexible hairspray (try Sebastian Shaper Plus Hair Spray, $14.99).

Her glowing skin
Get radiant skin from head to toe by moisturizing skin, then applying a luminescent powder (MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Powder, $25) on body, arms, chest and legs with a fluffy powder brush (try Urban Decay Good Karma Powder Brush, $35). On darker skin tones, use a powder with golden or warm bronze tones to avoid looking gray or ashy, Jennings says.

Her bright lips
To get a peachy pink or coral lip that's modern and fashionable like Obama's, "always line and lightly fill in the lip with a warm brown (or flesh-toned) pencil before applying the brighter lip shade," says Jennings. (Try one of these highly rated liners.) Balance the look with a shimmery blush in a warm peach tone (like Aveda Petal Essence Face Accents in Peach Lights, $20), which adds a youthful glow and, as a bonus, looks great on camera.
