Heidi's chic, mod look was one of the most talked about of the night -- and she's not even a movie star. Makeup artist Linda Hay created sultry, false-lash heavy (and mascara loaded -- she applied four coats of volumizing mascara!), shimmering eyes paired with bronzed skin and matte pink lips. Key products she used: Very Sexy Mosaic Eye Shadow in Satisfied, $18; Very Sexy Perfect Lipstick in Whisper and Spontaneous, $12. Hairstylist Helena Faccenda whipped up a masterpiece with the perfectly polished bouffant bun. It took her two hours to create, so you might not want to try it at home. It involved a ton of backcombing, but only one small hair extension piece, which made it all the more impressive. Only Heidi could pull off such a dramatic 'do and have it look modern and gorgeous.

Most Glamorous, Marion Cotillard
Having shed her tiny Edith Piaf eyebrows, Best Actress winner Marion Cotillard was truly the belle of the ball. Makeup artist Angela Levin gave Marion soft, rosy-stained lips, light pink blush and shimmery shadow on her eyes to create an overall sultry, sexy look. To get the sparkly shadow look, blend copper and pink-gold shadows (try Collection Essentielle de Chanel Multi-Use Makeup Palette in Lumiere Naturelle, $85) on lids focusing on the inner corners of eyes. We loved that her chocolate brown curls and black mascara set off her baby blues so do finish off the eyes with a coat or two of black mascara. The overall effect was stunning.
The big trends on the red carpet? Loose, low styles and day-friendly makeup. (Not exactly Hollywood glam but we'll blame that on the rain.) Still, a few stars managed to stand out. Find out who got our award for Most Glamorous and who should have spent more time on her hair.
