Why: Readers say this product is painful: "After rinsing it off, my skin felt like it was burning and an hour later I got a very bad and painful rash," one reader says. Other readers didn't have pain, but they also didn't get hair removed: "I left the product on for the full 10 minutes but got little to no actual hair removal." One reader says, "I thought the baby oil would make it smell better, but it didn't. It smelled like baby powder and sulfur -- like a baby that needed a diaper change ... eeew!" Why: Readers found this product impossible to work with. "The wax is very messy and gets hard really fast. As soon as I put it on my skin it hardened. It peeled off like a sticker, which means it didn't grab ANY hair," one reader says. Another adds, "This didn�t work at all. I followed the directions exactly, and I tried it multiple times. Nothing. The gel is gooey and messy and it doesn't take off anything." One reader says the product "removed not one single hair" but it did "break a bunch of blood vessels on my leg."
Unless you're lucky enough to have gotten laser hair removal, you're stuck in a never-ending cycle of shaving and/or waxing to get rid of unwanted hair.
