Hydrate
Eight glasses a day of H2O; you've heard it a million times before, and once again, we preach it. Chicago plastic surgeon Dr. Steven Dayan (who specializes in anti-aging) emphasizes the importance of hydration -- inside and out. "Drinking [water] is very important, of course. But it's also a great idea to hydrate the skin with a facial that includes hyaluronic acid (like an oxygen facial) to penetrate deep into the skin. This will reveal a healthy, flushed glow; it will also plump up fine lines to make them less visible."

Exfoliate
According to hit-show "Community" makeup artist Pamela Lljubo-O'Brien, the best way to boast a brilliant, radiant glow is with dedicated exfoliation. "Skin needs refreshing, a simple polishing to get rid of any dullness will instantly boost the vibrancy of your complexion." Bonus: As a result, your makeup will glide on smoother and blend easier too. New York dermatologist Dr. Neil Sadick thinks using an at-home microdermabrasion kit twice monthly is a safe method of sloughing skin. Try Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion and Peel System, $20.50.

Smooth fine lines
Makeup artist to the stars (including Britney Spears, Taylor Swift and Halle Berry) Ramy Gafni suggests using a primer before applying makeup to help smooth lines and create an even canvas. Choose an oil-free variety to keep buildup to a minimum, and top with an incredible, hydrating moisturizer. Then apply makeup. Try Benefit That Girl, $14.

Unpack your bags
Tired eyes appear droopy and, well, loopy (to be perfectly honest). For the brightest eyes, some simple eye care can be the cure. According to skin care expert Celeste Hilling, your three key eye helpers are: ice cubes, gentle massage and a good eye cream. Before applying makeup or skin care, dab your eye area gently with ice cubes to de-puff and cool. Then, use the pads of your fingers to lightly tap the skin below and above your eyes in a circular motion (to get circulation going). Finally, adopt the habit of applying eye cream morning and night. One to try: Olay Professional Pro-X Eye Restoration Complex, $42.
