Anna, 35, has just moved to Los Angeles from Sweden to pursue modeling. So, naturally, she needs a new look to match her new career and locale. This is doubly true since Anna's current haircut "doesn't really have any shape," she says. So she's looking for a new style that'll give her hair some shape and movement, and most importantly, flatter her face.
And that's where our makeover team comes in. We asked Luke O'Connor, celebrity stylist and co-owner of Lukaro Salon in Beverly Hills, Calif. and makeup artist Sabrina Mae to revamp Anna's style and give her something worthy of a Los Angeles model. See her transformation now.

"Make me look like a model!"
"I'm so excited! I really think this could be a new beginning," Anna says. She's more than ready to get rid of her heavy, straight hair that just hangs in place. "I want something that'll flatter my face shape."

The cut
After washing her hair with Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Color Care Lower Sulfate Shampoo, $3.49, and Conditioner, $3.49, O'Connor decides to cut about four inches off Anna's hair. He also adds front layers around her chin "to help open her features and draw attention to her jawline," O'Connor says. These layers will give her more versatility and movement when she styles her hair.

The style
Now that Anna's hair has plenty of layers, O'Connor decides to bring them out. He first applies Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Smooth & Shine Serum, $3.49, to wet hair, then blow dries it straight with a paddle brush. Then, he finishes by flat ironing her hair and flipping out the ends of Anna's layers.

The makeup
Anna's biggest request when it comes to makeup: "Make my eyes look bigger!" To do this, Mae uses four shades of purple shadow (MAC Eye Shadows in Mink Pink, Black Tulip, Bruised Plum, and Jungle Moon, $15 each) to give Anna's eyes definition. She finishes with a black liner on her inner rims, pale pink lipstick, and a pinky shimmer blush to brighten the rest of Anna's face.
