Robyn is an actress who just got married to a man she met on set for a music video. "We were paired together for a music video called, 'So in Love,'" she says. "We were back up dancers shooting a wedding scene." Talk about a meet-cute. With her honeymoon coming up, Robyn wanted a new look to complement the new changes in her life.

"My hair is kind of like my trademark," she says. "I'm a natural strawberry blonde and it was always the way people identified me. I'm honestly pretty nervous but I'm excited for the change." So we assured Robyn that she was in the best of hands and introduced her to Luke O'Connor, celebrity stylist and owner of Lukaro Salon in Beverly Hills, Calif. and makeup artist Sabrina Mae. They teamed up to give Robyn a hot new look that matches the new stage in her life. See how Luke cut her hair and learn how to get the style yourself.

'I'm desperate for a cut.'
Robyn says that she's "a big scaredy cat with my hair but I know I need a cut. I haven't cut my hair in 15 years." O'Connor says since Robyn has a triangular face, lightening up the front layers will bring more definition to her jawline. See his cut next.

The cut
First O'Connor preps her hair with Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Color Care Lower Sulfate Shampoo, $3.49, and Conditioner, $3.49. O'Connor says while long hair suits Robyn, the ends are damaged, so he cuts off three inches. Then he gives Robyn layers in the front with the shortest layer coming right below her chin. "The layers lighten up her face and help draw attention to her features," he says.

The style
Since Robyn has fine hair, O'Connor sprays Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo, $3.49, for extra volume at the roots.

The makeup
"Robyn has pink undertones, so all I'm doing is warming her up with bronzer on the hollow of cheekbones, temples, and forehead," says Mae. "Her brown hair and brown eyes are blending together so I want her skin to pop." Then Mae applies a pink blush onto the apples of Robyn's cheeks. To give definition to her eyes, Mae uses Too Faced Natural at Night Palette Sexy Sultry Neutral Eyeshadow Collection, $36. She first applies a matte, cream-colored eyeshadow all over her lids. Then tops it with a golden bronze shadow. She then brushes gray shadow into the crease and lower lashline to give a slight smoky eye. Finally, she finishes Robyn's eyes with black eyeshadow on her upper lashline. To finish the look, Mae applied a plum-colored lip gloss.
