This style is especially great for shorter hair, though it works on any length. After prepping your hair with dry shampoo, Potempa recommends braiding a one-inch section of hair at the front of your head and pinning it back.

Potempa says to add mousse to your post-workout, just-washed hair, then section it off and twist each section into a bun. Secure with bobby pins. "When it dries, it will create beautiful natural waves," she says. In the meantime, you'll be channeling your inner Gwen Stefani.

"This braided style looks glam even when wet and dries beautifully," says Markham. His tips for getting the style: Start by applying a styling cream through damp hair. Gather the top section of your hair and divide it into three sections. French braid your hair to the ends and secure with an elastic. Then, tug at the braid with your fingers to make it look fuller.

"Dress up your post-workout look with a headband," says Markham. "For a supersimple, bohemian look, place a scarf headband over the top of your hair, pushing it down so that it sits low around your head." Then tuck pieces of your hair into the headband, making sure to tuck the ends under. It should form a roll and cover the entire back of the headband. This style works well on wet or dry hair. Simply slick your hair back into a low ponytail, says Potempa. Add a bit of pomade or styling cream for hold (we're fans of Leonor Greyl Baume Bois de Rose, $49. Twist a one-inch section of your hair around the elastic to hide it, and pin it with a bobby pin. Pop on a decorative headband and you're ready to head out the door.
