As with any product, it's important to weigh the pros and cons. One potential drawback is that the tool does get hotter the longer you use it (in other words, you might want to use styling gloves, if you have them). Also, the barrel is very large, so if your hair is shoulder length (or shorter), you'll probably fare better with a smaller version. Lastly, the product is a bit pricey at $100. This is more expensive than drugstore versions, but less expensive than other tools out there. Honestly, I think it's 100 percent worth the dough.

As mentioned, blow drying and styling my hair is an ordeal; I can easily spend 90 minutes tending to my hair fresh out of the shower. I was curious to see if this device would reduce my labor load and if it'd give me similar or better results compared to my typical process (blow dry, straighten, curl).
The short answer? Yes. I'm able to finish styling my hair in about 30 minutes when using this hair tool. The kicker is that my hair looked far better — honestly comparable to a salon-level blowout — than what it usually does and, I'd assume, with less damage done.
