Ginger can reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation. It's as easy as rubbing a fresh piece of ginger on the spot two to three times per day until you see it start to fade.

For a very effective anti-acne wash, mix one part ginger, two parts olive oil and three parts sugar. You can also use diluted ginger juice as a toner, just spray and go. Ginger juice even works as a spot treatment for pimples: just dab juice onto the spots.
