The hack: If you need to dry your hair quickly, use paper towels -- they absorb more water than a bath towel. Bonus: It is also supposed to be great for curly and frizzy hair, as it creates less friction than a bath towel.
Does it work? For me, mornings are a perpetual rush. Washing my hair adds at least 15 extra minutes to my routine, when you consider drying and styling time. Annoying. So I'll try anything that promises to cut down on the time I spend getting ready/not drinking coffee. After showering, I took a few of the paper towels I had brought in from the kitchen and proceeded to squeeze what felt like gallons of water out of my hair. Tidy this was not -- I ended up with water droplets everywhere. But, my hair did dry faster and was less frizzy. I'd probably save this for special occasions, though -- it feels like a lot of paper towels to use every single day.

The hack: Brush a thick layer of powder underneath your eyes before putting on glitter eye makeup. It will catch the glitter and be easy to sweep away.
Does it work? It's no secret that I love glitter, but when your glitter eye makeup falls underneath your eyes, well, you just look like a hot mess. Scotch tape gets the job done, but can leave your under eyes a little red, especially if you have sensitive skin.
Naturally, I was excited to try this one (and seriously hoping that it worked). I dabbed my concealer on, set it with a ton of loose powder, and proceeded to put on my eye glitter. When I was done, I took a fan brush and swept it underneath my eyes -- goodbye glitter. Just be sure to use a brush you don't plan on using on the rest of your face, because inevitably the glitter particles will stick to the brush (still better than underneath your eyes).

The hack: On days when you're wearing shoes without socks, spray dry shampoo on your feet to keep them dry.
Does it work? Our Editor-in-Chief also swears by this hack. As an avid flats-wearer (AKA I rarely wear socks unless I'm at the gym), I had to try it as well. Hello, miracle! A quick spritz of dry shampoo over both of my feet, and my feet were definitely not as sweaty by the end of the day. Now, to cry for all of the flats I've had to throw out before discovering this trick.

The hack: Mix a highlighter into your body lotion for a subtle, summery glow.
Does it work? Being a girl of the ultra-fair-skinned variety, self-tanners don't look quite right on me -- plus, they require continuous upkeep, something I just don't have time for. As a result, my legs are pale and pasty as can be, even in the summer. I mixed a couple squirts of Manna Sheer Glo into my daily body lotion and applied as usual. While this didn't make my legs any tanner, it did give them a subtle, radiant glow that was a major step up from their usual zombie-like pallor.
