While for years men might have been open about viagra use, a woman disliking the appearance of her vagina post-children wasn't as welcomed or discussed. Luckily, Hausauer says the once-taboo topic is shifting, as more women and couples are comfortable discussing women's health. "Pregnancy, menopause and intense physical activity all change a woman's body. They can develop urine leakage, tissue laxity and decreased lubrication with painful intercourse, bleeding, more frequent urinary tract infections," she explains. Today, there are treatments available — like the diVA — which can help to thicken tissue and ameliorate leakage and laxity, all while boosting lubrication, giving women more options and opportunity to improve their below-the-belt confidence.
