Of course you can! Haven't you seen seen Tracee Ellis Ross and Lorde? Totally possible. You just need to remember that a) your bangs will need to be a bit longer because curls shrink and b) to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Stylist and founder of Ri Ci haircare line Ricky Pennisi spoke to the Huffington Post about curly bangs; explaining that certain shapes are better for certain cuts and that finding a good curly hair stylist is absolutely key.

This obviously depends on if you're going for a micro fringe, wispy side bangs, or blunt bangs — and you're also going to want to consider how quickly your hair grows. "Growing out your bangs is a true test of patience and an even better test of a great hairdresser," said Julien Farel, stylist and founder of the salon by the same name to Women's Health. So when you get those bangs, make sure you trust your hairdresser and that it's a relationship that will see you through the transition period!

Curly girls, we're all about moisture. Wavy girls can have problems with oiliness. Bangs mean that you'll be touching your face more than usual to touch them up, etc, which means they'll get oilier. A travel-size dry shampoo in your handbag will go a long way for when your bangs are starting to get that stringy, greasy look. Try Drybar's Detox Dry Shampoo, $13, which smells great, but doesn't make your hair feel like straw.

If you saw Ciara on the red carpet with the bangs you want, or Sophie Turner, or even Nicole Scherzinger, bring those pictures with you. Find as many of them as you can find from as many angles so that your stylist can know what you want and know how to adapt it for you. Also, if you wear glasses, they're going to affect how long your bangs will be and how they're going to be styled — so be sure to take them along.
