“I will usually use Mario Badescu’s Drying Lotion — it actually works. I like to apply it at night before bed and then I sleep on it,” says Amalie Moosgaard. “I do try to conceal it in the morning with whatever products I have on hand. I get so many gifts, so I’m always trying new things.”

“Normally, I’ll do a clay-based mask that you smear on, let dry and then wash off. I like clay because it sucks up the oil and dries out pimples,” says Ashanti Hildreth. “For something quick, I’ll sometimes use a spot treatment. I really like Dermalogica’s Breakout Clearing Emergency Spot Fix.”

“I like to mix tea tree essential oil with coconut oil and apply it directly to the spot with my finger. The tea tree oil has antiseptic properties, so it cleans and gets rid of bacteria. It has to be diluted first, but it usually works really well for me,” says Erin Shea. “I try not to wear makeup when I’m not at work, so usually I just brave up and face the skin bare-skinned even if I do have a pimple.”
