Muse Beauty is an online store that caters to professionals. Although it carries fewer brands than the usual makeup store, it's curated by makeup artist founders who have tons of experience using the products themselves. This means the site is home to some harder-to-find, pro-approved lines such as Japonesque and Viseart Cosmetics. (Don't miss the Viseart Petit Pro I Palette, $30.)
When looking for alternatives to your usual makeup products, try Etsy. Here, you'll find indie brands that offer unique shades and palettes. You can also find vegan and cruelty-free makeup items, not to mention a whole treasure trove of natural skin care products.
