MAC Lipstick in Taupe is some kind of sorcery: Who knew a matte peachy brown could look so fab? Seriously, "peachy brown" may sound like a color-mixing misstep, but it actually works so, so well. It also happens to be pretty versatile -- it's especially great as a nude lipstick for darker complexions, but it also looks great as more of a statement shade for fairer skin tones.
Does it get anymore iconic than black lipstick? MAC Lipstick in In the Spirit is pretty much as hardcore as they come. Worn alone, it's a super badass, full-coverage black (with a cream finish), and it can also be layered with other lipsticks and glosses for an amped up look. It's a limited edition shade, but it's still available for purchase!
Ah, MAC Twig. It may look like a standard mauve, but it's so much more. It uses MAC's Satin formula, so it's got a not-quite matte finish, and it's not quite as drying. Depending on your skin tone, it can serve as anything from the perfect MLBB shade, to that trendy '90s matte brown-toned mauve.
