The Brand: Gucci Beauty
The black and gold, label-embossed packaging on Gucci Beauty products scream luxury, but that's not the only luxe element of the fashion house's new beauty line. The lipsticks have a "gourmand Blue Chocolate" fragrance, there's a primer that feels like real silk and the makeup brushes are designed for perfect balance (okay, we don't know exactly what that means, but it sounds handy, right?).
Price Range: $30-$80
Editors' Favorite: Gucci Gucci Face Lustrous Glow Foundation, $65
This foundation gives the perfect blend of coverage and lit-from-within glow. It's super lightweight and wears all day without creasing or getting splotchy in oily areas, which is a lot to say for foundation that contains SPF.

The Brand: Smith & Cult Smith & Cult is the brainchild of Dineh Mohajer, the creator of Hard Candy. The 30-shade polish line has gorgeous gold- and silver-capped polishes we display on our vanity, but it's the cheeky names (Check The Rhyme, Cut The Mullet, Feed The Rich) that make us want to scoop up every single one.
Price Range: $18

The Makeup Line Designed For a No-Makeup Look
The Brand: Nudestix
The tagline for Nudestix, Go Nude, But Better, suits the brand, which was formed by two model sisters, perfectly. Ally and Taylor Frankel created the line based on their preference for a no-makeup look and their knowledge from working in the industry. The products are super quick to use, and the soft shades give you that "is she or isn't she?" look.
Price Range: $24
Editors' Favorite: Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color, $24

We finally saw our dream of wearing Louboutin come true (on our fingertips that is), Tyra Banks taught us the secret to her killer cheekbones and our beauty arsenal got a whole lot bigger with the launch of several new brands. The best beauty launches from 2014 include European beauty brands whose arrival in the U.S. we've been anxiously awaiting, luxe lines from designer labels and gorgeous packaging worthy of any vanity. If you haven't tried one of these new brands yet, you're missing out.
