December's Hottest Beauty Launches -- Just in Time for Santa

From Clinique's newest nail polish to Urban Decay's Naked addition, see the latest products you'll want to add to your wish list
I'm painfully boring when it comes to nail polish colors. I'll wear red every now and then, and I can be peer-pressured into navy , but for the most part I love nude. So when I came across this collection from Clinique -- eight glorious shades of beige -- I fell hard. They look like little bottles of foundation lined up on my desk, which might explain why I'm drawn to "Peek a Boo, I See You," the shade that most closely matches my skin tone. As with actual foundation, there's a color for everyone. And if you need help deciding, just read my guide to nude polish. Of course I wrote one.

Almost every month, I include the latest product to join my split-end-fighting arsenal. (I'm still avoiding that haircut.) My pick for December is this fantastic cream-and-serum combo. It contains ceramides (known for their moisture-retaining abilities) and lotus flower extract (another sealing ingredient), and it smells better than my favorite perfume -- like a crisp, watery bloom. Instead of snipping my fried ends with my desk scissors, I smell them -- that's an improvement, no?

People go nuts for Kiehl's Créme de Corps. To call it a cult favorite would be an understatement. It's blasphemy to admit this, but I've never really loved the scent -- so even though it's an unbelievable moisturizer, I've steered clear. This season, Kiehl's is (finally!) offering the beloved lotion in another scent: grapefruit, which happens to be one of my faves. To sweeten the deal, 100 percent of profits go to Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry Campaign. I'll take two.

Dermalogica Precleanse, $22.99, is an oil cleanser you use before your regular cleanser. It loosens makeup, takes off waterproof eyeliner in a snap and makes your skin feel moisturized and amazing. It's part of a ritual known as double cleansing, and although it's the best way to really, truly get your face completely clean, it's also a time suck. And that's why I'm giddy over these wipes: The skin care gurus over at Dermalogica figured out how to put the same Precleanse formula into a towelette. Double cleansing now consists of swipe, wash and go.

If you're a serious beauty aficionado, I'm sure you know, own and love the Urban Decay Naked Palette, and probably feel the same way about the Naked2. Now, (drumroll), I present you with the Naked3. While it was originally scheduled to launch in January, international beauty bloggers couldn't stop writing, tweeting and Instagramming about it, so the brand decided to release it early -- in time for the holidays. (Thank you, UD!)

Truth be told, I was worried the rose gold shades would wash out my pale, already pinkish complexion. But it's just the opposite -- not only can I wear all 12 colors, they're incredibly flattering. They're so good, in fact, that I'm betting the Naked3 outsells the Naked and Naked2.
