Dermalogica Precleanse, $22.99, is an oil cleanser you use before your regular cleanser. It loosens makeup, takes off waterproof eyeliner in a snap and makes your skin feel moisturized and amazing. It's part of a ritual known as double cleansing, and although it's the best way to really, truly get your face completely clean, it's also a time suck. And that's why I'm giddy over these wipes: The skin care gurus over at Dermalogica figured out how to put the same Precleanse formula into a towelette. Double cleansing now consists of swipe, wash and go.
If you're a serious beauty aficionado, I'm sure you know, own and love the Urban Decay Naked Palette, and probably feel the same way about the Naked2. Now, (drumroll), I present you with the Naked3. While it was originally scheduled to launch in January, international beauty bloggers couldn't stop writing, tweeting and Instagramming about it, so the brand decided to release it early -- in time for the holidays. (Thank you, UD!)
Truth be told, I was worried the rose gold shades would wash out my pale, already pinkish complexion. But it's just the opposite -- not only can I wear all 12 colors, they're incredibly flattering. They're so good, in fact, that I'm betting the Naked3 outsells the Naked and Naked2.
I'm obsessed with electric toothbrushes -- the more high-tech the better. It may be completely in my head, but when I use a fancy toothbrush, my teeth feel cleaner. (On the flip slide, when I travel with a conventional toothbrush, my teeth feel grimy the entire time.) And this super-charged version from Oral-B is the most advanced brush I've ever seen. I'm talking six different modes including whitening and massage, a wireless display screen that gives you feedback while you brush and 8,800 oscillations per minute. But don't worry if you're not gadget-savvy -- just turn it on and brush your teeth.
Perhaps the only thing more fabulous than a bottle of Dolce & Gabbana The One (a musky-sweet scent with vanilla and amber) is this golden version. It's the epitome of dressing-up-the-vanity packaging. Get it (at Neiman Marcus) while you can -- it's limited edition.
Indie Indonesian body line Juara is best known for its Candlenut Body Creme, which smells vaguely tropical (with coconut), but also majorly sophisticated, warm and pretty. Now, you can infuse your home with the same great smell with the Hope candle, which happens to come in a gorgeous glass jar. And my favorite thing about it is the lid -- so you can lock in the smoke after you blow it out. It's the little things.
