It's no secret that I'm a sucker for fancy beauty products. (Remember when I fell in love with that $740 face cream?) So when I started rounding up my picks for the best new beauty products launching in January, I was seriously shocked to realize that they're all available at your local CVS, Rite Aid or Target.
From a body lotion that will truly transform your skin to the brush that's going to change the way you style your hair, you don't want to miss these new products. The best part? Most of them cost around $10. So even if you're strapped for cash after the holidays, you can afford one -- or all seven.

I don't know why it took so long for a brand to come out with a BB cream for the body, but I'm so glad Jergens finally developed one. And -- what's even more exciting -- it happens to be amazing. It contains shea butter for tons of hydration, a hint of shimmer to blur out imperfections, the tiniest amount of DHA to make your skin glow, plus firming and skin tone-evening ingredients. What it's not is makeup for your body, and that's a good thing. (You can wear all the white clothes you want.) It's just a really awesome lotion that happens to make your skin look amazing. Pick one up before it sells out faster than Jergens Natural Glow did in 2005.
This super-rich body cleansing oil was developed to treat eczema. And even though I don't have eczema, I've been using it daily. It's so incredibly moisturizing that I can skip using lotion afterwards, and every dry patch -- from my elbows to my heels -- has softened.
I also passed along a bottle to a friend who actually has eczema, and she couldn't believe the results. Within a week, her eczema had completely subsided, and she hasn't had a flare-up since.

And they're just as good as I hoped: the handles are bamboo, the packaging is recycled, and the vent system dries hair 20-percent faster. One of my New Year's resolutions is to cut down on heat styling, and now I can check that one off my list without changing anything except my brush.
