I'm a little late to the game here, because this mask is already an Instagram sensation. With a name like Memebox I Dew Care Disco Kitten, $23, how could it not be? One look at the shimmering, holographic slime that is this mask (and I mean that in a good way), and you'll want to dive in, too. It also happens to be a peel off mask, making it even more gratifying to use, and it brightens skin with diamond powder. There's nothing not to love.

Chicest Makeup Brushes
Move over, rose gold. This metallic midnight blue is my new color obsession. Not only is the collection of Real Techniques Powder Bleu Brushes, $10-$25, seriously gorgeous, they also feel impossibly soft and blend makeup brilliantly. I'm partial to the kabuki, which is currently sitting on my desk just so I can pet it.

Lightest Moisturizer
This time of year, my skin is simultaneously dry and oily. (I blame the air conditioning and the seven layers of SPF I apply daily, respectively.) To combat this, I need a serious moisturizer that doesn't add to the sheen. Enter Vichy Mineral 89, $29.50. This gel is a combination of 89-percent mineralizing thermal spring water and hyaluronic acid -- and not much else. It plumps, it tightens, and it moisturizes, yet it feels like nothing. And it cures my dry-meets-oily issue in seconds.

Pedicure Sandals
Sure, sandals are a slightly unorthodox choice for my roundup of beauty buys, but not when they were created by Olive & June, the coolest nail spot in Los Angeles, specifically as a pedicure accessory. The Olive & June Saturday Sandals come in a half a dozen shades of delicious leather, have interchangeable straps that can be tied countless ways, and are designed so they don't come anywhere near your still-drying toe nails. I may never wear flip-flops again.

Tinted SPF
I consider myself a connoisseur of mineral sun block, and anytime I find a great one, I want to shout it from the rooftops. Origins GinZing SPF 40 Energy-Boosting Tinted Moisturizer, $37, is my current obsession because it's loaded with hydrating plant oils (without being greasy), doesn't move around once you apply it, and has enough bronzy tint you can skip makeup but still get a summery glow.
July is a lazy, steamy month. It kicks off with the Fourth of July holiday and then melts right into August. We're all living for the weekend this time of year -- and all the beauty product shopping and playing that comes along with a little extra time off. Fortunately, the best new beauty products launching in July are right on trend. There's a stellar new SPF, a makeup kit that's perfect for travel, a lightweight hydrator that's ideal for sticky weather -- and so much more to make your summer the best one yet.
