We enlisted our favorite natural hair bloggers, vloggers and product junkies to share what edge tamers, conditioners and hair mists are must-haves for natural hair
I wish I had this product when I was wearing braids a few years back, because it would have made wearing braids and cornrows a lot easier. Going Natural Scalp Conditioning Spray, $10, is my new favorite product for my braid locs, because it refreshes my scalp like nothing else. It keeps my hair moisturized but, most importantly, my scalp doesn't itch when I use it and it keeps dandruff away.
I spray this conditioning spray on at night before I go to sleep, then I put my hair in a bun and wrap a scarf around it. In the morning my hair looks happy, healthy and bouncy. --Mireille Liong, Going Natural

The Cleansing Conditioner That Made Me Believe in Co-Washing
My hair is extremely dry, so conditioners have become the focal point of my hair-care routine. Conditioning has improved the manageability of my hair and its moisture retention. While I've long been aware of co-washing, I didn't practice it consistently until recently. Carols Daughter Hair Milk Cleansing Conditioner, $12, is my No. 1 choice to use for co-washing because it leaves my scalp feeling cleansed and makes my hair feel more moisturized. --Ariane Williams, Black Naps

The Product Combo That Makes My Curls Pop
After being natural for nearly four years, I have found that Shea Moisture Moisture Retention Shampoo, $10, is one of the only shampoos that leaves my hair moisturized and soft, but also clean. After I rinse out my shampoo and finish my conditioning and deep conditioning process, I apply coconut oil to my hair followed by a leave-in conditioner. Next, I apply Eden BodyWorks Coconut Shea Curl Defining Cream, $9, to make my curls pop. I love using these products together because they give my curls the perfect amount of shine and definition. --Ashley Carter, FabEllis

The All-Natural Butter That Soothes My Dry Scalp
Karen's Body Beautiful Butter Love in Egyptian Musk, $18, is one of my favorite products, because it's multipurpose -- you can use it on your body and your hair. This product contains all-natural ingredients like shea butter, cocoa butter, mango butter, jojoba butter and grapefruit seed oil, which makes it all the more loveable. Butter Love keeps my hair super moisturized between washes and styling and is great to apply directly onto my scalp when it's dry and in need of some TLC. It is indeed a must -- especially with the Egyptian Musk scent to keep you smelling like a goddess. --Racheal Daley, Aphrodite Kinks
