Somehow, the best part of this classic body lotion, $24, is not the gorgeous, girly packaging. The scent has undergone an update since its debut, but the current bouquet of rose, violet, peony and dewy foliage is just as heady and alluring. Think: French garden party meets Sunday brunch.
Philosophy's much-loved Amazing Grace fragrance features clean, feminine notes of bergamot, muguet blossoms and musk. Put in body butter form, $33, the result is an addictive elixir that may or may not be responsible for keeping the "Bath & Body" section of Sephora in business.
If you're not familiar with the iconic scent of Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula, $5.50, then we're going to assume you are a Martian, beamed down to Earth to study us. We've all been smelling this beloved (albeit somewhat cloying) cocoa butter scent for decades. Objectively, it's not everybody's cup of tea, but we can't help but love it, simply for the cozy, comforting nostalgia.
It was a difficult and painful decision choosing the best Bath & Body Works scent. (Shout out to runners up Sweet Pea, Coconut Lime Verbena and Cucumber Melon.) But finally, we determined -- and not lightly, may we add -- that Warm Vanilla Sugar, $12.50, is the most irresistible.
We're all guilty of slathering our skin in way too much of this stuff, and have many a memory underscored by its sugary sweet smell. (I, for one, had my first-ever make out sesh wearing this. Tom Daniels, seventh grade.) For those memories alone, it deserves the silver medal.
The day this legendary lotion, $18, becomes discontinued will be the day a small part of us dies inside. The coveted fragrance, featuring fresh notes, like cherry blossom and peach, has accompanied a generation through school dances and date nights. There are few American women who don't swoon at the mention of Victoria's Secret Love Spell, earning it the top spot on our list.
