If you're new to spaghetti squash, let's start with the basics. All you need for this no-fuss dish are butter and the herbs of your choice.

Ingredients:
Spaghetti squash, sliced in half lengthwise
2 tablespoons chopped herbs (thyme, rosemary, sage)
Butter

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F, and bake the squash until it's tender (about 45 minutes to an hour). After removing it from the oven, run a fork through the meat of the squash (lengthwise), which will turn the insides into "spaghetti". Add butter and herbs and mix before serving.

Broccoli Cheddar Spaghetti Squash Casserole

Ingredients:
3 cups broccoli florets
1 tablespoon sunflower oil
1 whole spaghetti squash √ 6 ounces plain Greek yogurt
3/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Gruyere cheese
1 egg
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:
After the spaghetti squash has been roasted, scrape out the strands, and transfer it to a large bowl. Add the yogurt, cheese, egg and seasonings. Stir together until and set aside.Toss the broccoli in the oil. Add salt and pepper, then place it into the casserole dish. Cook the broccoli in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, so that it is lightly roasted.

Add the broccoli to the bowl, mix together and pour the mixture into the greased casserole dish. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake for an additional 40 minutes.
