Don't default to powder. The pink cheeks at Bmuet(te) had that just-got-back-from-a-brisk-walk flush that can be achieved using a cream or gel blush.

At Fllumae makeup artist Joan Marie Cruz dusted cheerful pink blush in the famous "C" sweep on cheekbones. We suggest Clinique Cheek Pop Blush in Black Honey, $26, for a similar statement-making effect. (FYI: The shade appears a lot darker in the pot.)

Forget the rule about only highlighting one facial feature at a time. The makeup look at Anthony Rubio played up models' cheeks, eyes and lips. Of course, you can always tone it down and just focus on recreating the gorgeous red flush.
