Between over-lining, lip contouring and top coats, when did applying lip color get so complicated? Simplify things by using fingers to dab on lip color, instead. "For any cream blush or lipstick that I really want to look like a stain or to appear like the color is sitting beneath the skin, my fingertips are the tools I prefer to use most often," French says. Take a cue from the makeup artist and use the technique to recreate this barely-there lip from the Arthur Arbesser show.

Easy Eye Glitter

Warm Neutrals
It's possible to do a full makeup look using just your fingers. Dab coordinating rosy neutrals on the eyes and lips to recreate the romantic look at the Cynthia Rowley Spring 2018 show. Just make sure to use clean fingers so there's no mixing of the eye and lip colors. Bright Blue Eyes
When applying electric eyeshadows, go bold or don't bother. Take a cue from the House of Holland show and sweep an arc of opaque turquoise shadow, like NYX Vivid Brights Creme Colour, $10, from the lid to just under the brow bone. Choose a coordinating eye pencil to rim the bottom lashes for a precise finish (it's not cheating) or bring the eyeshadow down with the little finger for a diffused look.
