Offered in eight shades, Maybelline's cushion foundation gives a luminous finish, and the color payoff is amazing. It's pigmented enough to cover blemishes, redness and other uneven spots and melts into skin like higher-end products. There aren't any skin-perfecting ingredients in this product -- not even sunscreen. But if you're not into drugstore foundation, this Maybelline BB cushion could very well change your mind.

If you don't like spending big bucks on foundation -- and don't have a lot of time to apply it, either -- L'Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation, $16.99, might be the perfect base for you. The coverage is so sheer that you can put it on in a flash (read: commute-friendly makeup). And there are 16 shades, helpfully coded with C, N or W (cool, neutral or warm), so finding the right match for your skin is easy-peasy.

Got a bare-bones skin-care routine? The hydrating Missha M Magic Cushion, $19, pulls triple duty as a full-coverage foundation, sunscreen and light moisturizer. The dewy formula is infused with moisturizing ingredients like bamboo water, baobob tree fruit extract and skin-loving avocado, olive and sunflower seed oils. We love the high sun protection factor, rare in such an affordable BB cushion.

If you love luxury beauty products, Dior Capture Totale Dreamskin Perfect Skin Cushion, $82, is the Cadillac of BB cushions. It also has some of the most powerful anti-aging ingredients of any cushion foundation. With SPF 50 sunscreen plus exotic ingredients like longoza fruit and opilia to brighten skin tone and smooth lines, Dior's cushion foundation could make your anti-aging serum obsolete. Although this high-end BB cushion has a high-end price, refill cushions cost about half as much.
