We Asked a Dermatologist What to Do About Our Dark Circles

Using a great concealer can help hide that luggage under your eyes, but how do you get rid of them for good?

Can you wear makeup directly after treatments?
Yes! Your trusty concealer is still your friend, though Eidelman recommends giving your skin a break for a few days as well, especially if you've had a chemical peel or an IPL session.

What else can you do?
Eidelman says the quick fix for both men and women is simply concealer. "A lightweight cream or stick, followed by a sparse dusting of powder will stay for several hours. Gentlemen should test products for a good color match product with a matte finish. A trick I suggest is to take an opposite approach. Instead of trying to lighten the circles, darken the rest of the face a shade or two with a natural looking bronzer or tanning cream avoiding the eye area," he says.
