Ashtanga Yoga
Another physically demanding practice, Ashtanga is similar to Vinyasa but it's a specific set of postures in a set order. This type is also referred to sometimes as power yoga.

Anusara Yoga
In this type of yoga, there's a focus on the mind/body/heart connection as well as the alignment of the body. This is a feel-good class, mentally and physically.

Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is meant to stretch connective tissues for up to two minutes. It is a meditative practice and sometimes goes with Yang Yoga, which is more active, giving you the best of both worlds.
