Apply concealer around your entire eye -- not just underneath it. Use a brush to create a "v" shape underneath your eyes, then apply a bit underneath your brow bone and in the corner of your eye. Blend, blend, blend it in a circular motion. This draws attention to your eyes by evening out your skin tone.
Apply a matte powder bronzer in a "3" shape, starting at your temples, sweeping under your cheekbones and then down your jawline. This will help you make those cheekbones pop without looking overly contoured.
Use a lip liner in the same shade as your lipstick and completely fill in your lips. This creates a base that will help your lipstick last longer.
You've seen the photos of celebrities whose powder wasn't blended properly -- the white powder look isn't good. Apply an HD powder with a light hand and a giant fluffy brush to set your makeup. Use a dusting motion, and make sure it's blended all the way.
Never underestimate the power of (properly applied) false lashes. Strip lashes can look obviously fake; instead, choose individual lashes. Get our tips for applying them here.
