Yes, we're already into January, but it's not too late to make some 2020 New Year's resolutions — especially if they're easy! Sometimes, we're simply too ambitious when it comes to our resolutions... which often leads to lapses and setbacks, which in turns often leads to giving them up entirely.

So... why not make things a little easier on yourself with some more manageable goals? Instead of committing to a six-days-a-week gym regimen, why not start with taking the stairs and/or a 15 minute walk on your lunch break? And instead of reading a book a week, why not vow to read a few pages before bed every night?

These little changes add up in a big way, and you'll be reaping the rewards in no time. Keep reading to see some of our favorite easy-to-keep New Year's resolutions!

Always bring a bottle of water
Staying hydrated is key to keeping your body in healthy working order. It can affect everything from brain function to metabolism rate (so, basically everything). This 2020, keep a bottle of water near you at all times and try to drink at least 64 ounces!

Cook a meal once a week
If you want to have a healthier 2020 (and save some money), you might want to start cooking at home.

Even so, with our busy lifestyles resolving to pack a lunch every day can feel daunting. So start small, by cooking at least one meal a week. Who knows, maybe once you get into the rhythm of things, you might become a meal prep fiend!

Take the stairs
If exercising more is one of your 2020 resolutions, start with taking the stairs instead of the elevator. It's a great way to get moving; besides, it'll build stamina so you won't feel as weak when you start a proper workout routine.

Donate clothes you no longer love
Want to declutter your home? Get rid of all the clothes that you didn't wear more than twice in 2019. Donate to a local charity or try selling them on platforms like thredUp.
