Buy a nice pair of underwear — for yourself, no one else. Make them cute and comfy (maybe something like these Honeydew Intimates Ahna 3-Pack Hipster Panties, $33). Every time you get to put them on in the morning you'll start your morning off on the right, erm, foot.
Learn to knit or crochet. Ask your mom or grandma to show you how (if they don't know how there are countless videos on YouTube), and start making a scarf for next winter. This does double duty: It is an absurdly soothing activity AND it keeps your phone out of your hands while you're watching Netflix/riding the subway/waiting for your friend to show up.

9. Meditation app
Meditation is no longer some woo woo thing reserved for Buddhist monks or people on communes in California. It's simple, short, and improves your mood and emotional health. To get started, we recommend trying one of the many apps: Headspace and Calm are both highly rated, available on Android and iPhone, and free.

10. Print your pics
Scroll through your Instagram photos and find your three favorites. The ones where you're laughing with your friends, where you look amazing, or of your doggo. Now print them out, on magnets, stickers, or just prints, and put them where you'll see them every day.

11. Write a letter
Think of someone who has been really good to you. An old friend you haven't spoken to in a while, a teacher, even an aunt. Write a letter (or email) to them telling them how much they mean to you. You'll feel great and pass that feeling on.
