Black liquid eyeliner has been my signature makeup staple since my teens; without it, I feel like I'm not really even wearing makeup. So you can bet I've tried pretty much every liquid liner on the market. This felt-tipped pen from Pixel does everything that I want for just $6. (I love that I can buy one in each of the four shades for about the price of my other favorite eyeliner.) It fits perfectly in my hand, is deeply pigmented, lasts all day and the tip is the perfect balance of stiff and flexible to draw on my signature cat-eye. — Hannah Savin
Between dewy skin, glitter highlighters and glossy lids, we may have reached peak glimmer status. Not that I'm complaining. After all, there's nothing more gorgeous than a wet, glossy pout, especially in the summer — and these lightweight lip oils from Rimmel bring the shine. The bright, juicy tints make lips look luscious, like you've been sucking on a Popsicle, with a delicious, fruity scent to match. And because it's an oil, it delivers a high-gloss finish without the stickiness of a traditional lip gloss. While Oh My Gloss! does fade quickly (like most lip oils), it wears nicely, transforming into a pretty lip stain with a subtle sheen. — Jill Provost
As a full coverage foundation kind of gal, I always look for some kind of skin-perfecting element, even in my BB and CC creams. That's where this product totally delivers. It successfully masks my skin's redness and imperfections, while leaving my skin with a dewy, natural-looking finish. It's perfect for those off-duty days when I'm not ready to bare a makeup-free face, but don't want to bother with heavy-duty foundation. Plus, it feels great on and gives me a little extra sun protection. — Mary Squillace
Sure, there are a million highlighters out there, but this one is my current favorite. It comes in two shades — a sheer pink and a warm champagne — that look gorgeous on just about any skin tone. It's extremely layerable so you get exactly the amount of impact you want. And it lasts all day. Plus, the silkiness of the powder reminds me of much more expensive versions — I'll let you guess which ones I'm talking about. — Dawn Davis
If I look for anything in an eyeliner pencil, it's a long lifespan. Eyeliner pencils are amazing for blending colors, adding definition to the eyes and creating a smoky eye look. However, in my experience that smoky eye quickly turns into a smudgy, I-look-like-I-just-woke-up eye. Which is no bueno when I need it to get me through the workday or a shot-filled evening out. NYX Faux Blacks Eyeliner is my prince among frogs.
Not only does the creamy eyeliner apply smoothly and last all day, it holds up in the waterline (which is a definite rarity for me). The eyeliner collection comes in eight shades, which range from a fiery red to deep indigo. All of the pencils provide a nice, rich pigment, and thanks to the non-traditional colors, each color makes the eyes pop. — Jessica Amaris
