It may be called fashion month but let's not forget all of the beauty inspiration that comes out of this four-week runway fest. There's hair and makeup, of course, but in our book, the manicures are the star of the show. This season was no exception, with a variety of fresh new nail looks incorporating everything from glitter to texture to negative space. (Though if you're a nude nail kind of girl, don't worry, there was some of that too.) Here, six of our most-loved runway manicures from the Fall 2018 shows—plus the polishes you'll need to recreate them.

Refreshed French
The French manicure got a (very) cool and modern update at Tanya Taylor, where silver and orange replaced pink and white. Essie No Place Like Chrome, $9 makes for the perfect metallic base to pair with tangerine tips (Essie Tart Deco, $8.99). And while we're crushing on this color combo, by all means, go ahead and mix and match whatever shades you like.

Well Red
Red nails will never go out of style but if you want to revamp the classic ever so slightly, take a cue from the ruby tips seen on the Badgley Mischka runway. Apply two coats of your favorite red shade; here it was Deborah Lippmann Single Ladies, $18. Finish with a single stripe, painted along the side of each nail, using a dark plum, like Lippmann's Dark Side of the Moon, $18. Very subtle but very sophisticated.

White Strips
Love a nude nail? We do too. This mani, inspired by the Adeam show, proves that all it takes is a few diagonal stripes to transform a nude nail from simple to statement-worthy. FYI, a thin-tipped eyeliner brush makes it easy to paint on these kind of thin stripes and CND Vinylux Powder My Nose, $10.50 is a foolproof nude shade.
We like to think of the manicures at the Jeremy Scott show as the beauty version of an ink-blot test: Do you see an animal print or a floral pattern? Either way, it's surprisingly easy to create, since the more random and messy, the better. Simply paint small squiggles all over your nails using a bright, vibrant shade. (Essie Play Date, $9 and Bachelorette Bash, $8.99 were used in the show.) Yep, it's that easy.
