If you're dissuaded by the short shelf life of colorful hair, think of it as an opportunity to play around, suggests Papanikolas.
"Fashion colors have more flexibility since they tend to fade fast, so you are able to shift tones rather frequently," he explains.

If your complexion has cool undertones, flatter your lighter eyes with blue jewel tones like dark teals, royal blues, and even denim.
