Icy blonde is an attention-getting shade on its own, and it's also the perfect canvas for experimenting with other colors. "Since the hair is already light, a pop of color is fun," says Nicole Leal, master stylist at West Hollywood's Nine Zero One Salon. Make like Zosia Mamet and add just a kiss of color -- in this case, blush pink -- at the roots of your platinum bob.

You don't need to have white-blonde hair to play with pink; rose gold hair is one of the hottest hair colors of the moment (see: Kylie Jenner). The trend has inspired a variety of interpretations, from classic strawberry blonde to cotton-candy pink and everything in between.
The fair-haired can achieve a natural rose gold with an in-salon or DIY toner. "Put a strawberry blonde wash over your golden blonde," says Janelle Chaplin, stylist and global creative director for O&M. "This will look stunning for fall."
You can get the look at home with a pink or red toning conditioner. "Try a sheer conditioning mask to create an all-over blush tone," Nawrot says. "Modify your timing to five minutes for soft color, or 10 to 15 minutes for bold color."
