"I suggest this blow dryer to my clients. It has two nozzles, one for thick, very heavy hair and one for normal hair. It delivers a different amount of heat to the area you're blow drying, and it also comes with a diffuser that you can use on natural wavy or curly hair."— Garren adds.
Yes, Garren has his favorite hair elastics, and it's these. "I like the large. When I pull the hair back in a ponytail, these help hold it tight. Or, if I do a messy bun, twisting the hair, you can loop it over and over again. They're really secure, they never break or stretch out and you get a lot of momentum using them."— says Garren.
"I love it because it is not too reflective and brings out the highlights in your hair — without being too oily. It takes away dullness and doesn't cause any debris buildup or make hair greasy, and it has no residue. It soaks right into hair, doesn't bring down the volume, and adds more luster and reflective shine."— Garren continues.
As far as hot styling tools go, Garren can't work without this one: "I like that this one is coated. I like that better than the shiny, gold versions because it gives you a looser wave. I like it to be rippled, softer, and not so precise. It looks more natural, not like it's been forced with an iron."
"I love the old-fashioned big hairpins that look like tortoise shell, the thick, wavy ones. They're great for accessorizing and holding hair up. It was very Parisian and high fashion back in the day. If you want to put your hair up, they're very large, hold the hair nicely and they don't damage the hair."— Garren shares.
