JLo's contour was as on point as usual, but it was her braided mega-bun that really captured our hearts. The sculptural style was engineered by Chris Appleton (with the help of a whole lot of Color Wow Cult Favorite Firm + Flexible Hairspray, $24, along with other styling products from the brand). "For this look, we did an elegant detailed updo that gives a queen of the night vibe," said Appleton. "The inspiration was an elegant Grace Kelly, but the braid made it more modern."

Makeup artist Jo Baker dubbed this look "Galactic Deco Doll," which is certainly apt! For the arresting eye look, she layered on a super-shiny base of Chanel Ombre Premiere Laque Longwear Liquid Eyeshadow in Desert Wind, $36, then created the winged effect by applying different shapes of crystals.

Zoë Kravitz looked like a modern-day Audrey Hepburn in this classic makeup look, created by Nina Park. We were especially taken with the dramatic matte red lip, which was created with a blend of three Yves Saint Laurent products: the Dessin Des Levres Lip Liner Pencil in Prune, $30, topped with the Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain in Black Red Code - Deep Burgundy and Red Tribe - Rich True Red, $37.

With her silver eyeshadow and red lip (not to mention her ruffled tuxedo shirt), Awkwafina's Golden Globes look had a fun, retro-futuristic vibe. The arresting eyeshadow look was created by makeup artist Kirin Bhatty, using the shade Karat from the Lorac Lux Diamond Palette, $39, as well as the Lorac Lux Diamond Creme Eye Shadow in Cashmere, $22.
