Sullivan's top recommendation? Masks! "While you're busy binge-watching the complete 'Gilmore Girls' catalog — erm, 'working from home' — take advantage of the downtime with hair masks (I love the Gisou Honey Infused Hair Mask, $70) and no (or at least, less) heat styling."
As she jokes, "Honestly, your dog won't care if your hair is freshly beach-waved. Stay safe!"
Olivia Casanova, colorist for IGK Salons, has a similar outlook: "I suggest giving your hair all the TLC while we're isolating." (Her mask of choice is the IGK Offline 3-Minute Hydration Hair Mask, $38.)
She too advises taking a break from heat styling, explaining "Since you won't have any co-workers to impress within the next week, it's probably not a bad idea to lay off the hot tools while you can and give your hair a break."
Mane Addicts hairstylist Sabrina Porsche says that now is the time to treat your hair like the royalty it is: "The best way to take care of your hair at a time like this is to do as little as possible. No tension, not too much washing, no styling. We should all take this time to give our hair a breather. It will really help with overall health, in addition to doing deep conditioning treatments and even hot oil treatments for the curly girls with dry hair."

Amanda Lee, who works as a stylist for Mane Addicts, has similar views on taking this time indoors to pamper hair — she says, "This is the perfect time to nourish our hair and bring those dry ends back to life! And no need to worry if you're out of your favorite masks: "I love to use household items like coconut oil and avocado oil when I run out of my regular conditioning treatments," she explains.
