Dentists have observed an increase in teeth sensitivity that correlates with the rise in sparkling water consumption. The carbonic acid formed when carbon dioxide breaks down can wear down the enamel, leading to sensitivity. However, it's crucial to note that sparkling water is still much less destructive to teeth compared to the acidity found in regular soda.
