AcaiFusion Lip Balm Broad Spectrum SPF 30, $9.50, or Sebamed Lip Defense Stick SPF 30, $4.99. If your lips are already chapped, however, SPF could irritate them further.

"If you are over 40 and have dry, rough areas on your lips, it could be due to sun damage, and may even be due to a precancerous growth or even lip skin cancer," warns Prystowsky. "See your dermatologist if the usual remedies for dry lips do not work."
