Once you apply your lip color, a little added concealer in the areas surrounding the lipstick and lip liner can help draw out the color, add volume and make the lips look fuller in a flash. For this technique, Scrivo uses a lightweight concealer one subtle shade lighter than the actual skin tone. Look for a tip applicator that is easy to use around the lips, such as Wander Beauty Dualist Matte and Illuminating Concealer, $29. This draws more attention to your lip area. "Apply over the lip line and then use a nude lip liner on the outer edges, slightly drawing outside of the lip line, to create the illusion of a fuller lip," she adds. "Fill in with lipstick and a gold, shimmery gloss, like Burberry Kisses Gloss in Gold Shimmer, $29, in the center for maximum effect."

One of LaMarsh's favorite tricks for making lips appear larger is by throwing in a little bit of pearlescent lip color into the center of the lips, over a matte or flat-colored lipstick. "The reflective properties of the lipstick in the center of the lips makes your lips quickly look fuller," she explains. "The 3D effect of this trick is really eye-catching." To rock this at home or out on the town, apply a matte lip shade all over your lips as a base. Then, using a lip brush, apply the shimmery lip color, like Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss in Classic, $36, to the center of both the bottom and top lips. KNC Beauty's All Natural Collagen Infused Lip Mask, $25, is formulated with a myriad of nutrients that moisturize your lips, such as rose flower oil, cherry extract and vitamin E, but it also packs a powerful punch of collagen that gives you that pleasant, tingly feeling. Leave on for at least 15-20 minutes and use 2-3 times a week for optimal results.

As a final touch to really amp the effects of that 3D appeal, apply a gloss over the top of your lips, whether or not you're using any other product. Celeb makeup artists say any gloss will do — even drugstore lip glosses — and to focus on applying to the center of the bottom lip. Hilary Kline, a Minneapolis-based makeup artist, loves NYX Pump It Up Lip Plumper, $5.49. "This product has a special peptide in it that helps improve collagen synthesis, which can lead to firmer, fuller and smoother-looking lips," she says. For even more volume, you can also add a touch of highlighter, like Glossier's Haloscope, $22, to your cupid's bow (the indent just above your upper lip and below your nose).
