Pencil Eyeliner — Two Years

Pencil eyeliners clock in at two years, making them one of the heartier types of makeup. That said, since this is another product you'll be using on your eyes, exercise your best judgment. No one likes the itchy watery eyes that come from using expired eyeliner (not that we're speaking from personal experience or anything).

Fragrance — Three to Ten Years

Oddly enough, certain scents last longer than others, which helps explain the wide range of expiration periods. So, when it comes to fragrances, make your decisions on a case by case basis — if the scent (or even the color) has changed a lot, that could be evidence that your perfume is past its prime.
