This Is the Only Tutorial (With GIFs) You Need to Master No-Makeup Makeup

Here's the secret to making everyone on Instagram think you're as genetically blessed as Kate Upton or Gigi Hadid (not that we're saying you're not)

No-Makeup Makeup Step 13: Add a Hint of Lip Gloss
A bit of Bobbi Brown Brightening Lip Gloss, $26, in White, makes lips look fuller.

No-Makeup Makeup Step 14: Apply a Light Eye Shadow Over Your Lid
Lendzion applied Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow, $24, in White (a matte shade), over my lid up to the crease with a fluffy brush. This added brightness to my eyes. You'll want to choose a shade of shadow a couple shades lighter than your skin tone.

Note: This step is optional if you're pressed for time.

No-Makeup Makeup Step 15: Lightly Define Your Eyes
Next, she took Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow, $24, in Cement, a greyish-beige matte shade, and applied it lightly over my eyelid and a little heavier in my crease.

Pro tip: You could also skip this step. It adds a natural-looking contour to your eye that's really pretty, but as long as you've used concealer on your eyelid, you can get away without shadow.

No-Makeup Makeup Step 16: Curl Your Lashes
Despite being a total makeup junkie, I had actually never curled my lashes before. But see the difference it makes? You want to clamp near the base of your lashes for best results.

No-Makeup Makeup Step 17: The Right Way to Apply Mascara
Watch and learn: This is how you apply mascara. Lendzion dipped her finger in the grey-beige eye shadow before touching my eyelid to prevent any smudging. Holding your eyelid prevents those dreaded mascara spots.

Then, wiggle the mascara to the roots of your lashes and twirl it up.
