Move over man buns, men have stepped their hairdos up a notch -- three notches to be exact. And then they twist those three notches together to create glorious, masculine, perfect braids. Man braids.

Man braids are the newest trend among men with long-ish hair. Perhaps guys are just tired of casual buns, or maybe they're interested in taking those buns a step further to create something a little more exciting to look at, or maybe braids keep the loose strands out of their faces. Either way, we're super happy about this new addition to the world of man beauty.

Let's discuss what this means. If men can braid their own hair, they certainly shouldn't have a problem braiding our hair, right? What could be better than having your boyfriend, husband or guy friend braid your hair for you? It happened to me once, but he was gay and a hairstylist, so technically it doesn't count.
