15 Beauty Products My Mom Has Stolen From Me

These products are all 100 percent mom-approved
A few of my mom's friends sell Rodan + Fields, so she's always quick to nab whatever I get from the brand. One of this year's highlights was its new body cream: It's super silky and has a gel-like texture that never leaves your skin sticky. She swears on it and uses it whenever her skin's feeling dry after a shower.

Speaking of Rodan + Fields, she became quite attached to the Rodan + Fields Redefine Intensive Renewing Serum, $102 last year. Once those ran out, she quickly started hounding me for more anti-aging capsules (she likes the capsule format since she travels a lot for work). When I got these, I knew I'd have to share them with her — and we both like them a lot. They're super hydrating and though they contain retinol, they didn't cause any peeling or redness on either of us. Plus, the rose gold capsules are just plain fun to use.

I've literally been trying to get my mom into double cleansing for years, but it wasn't until she stole my beloved Tatcha cleansing oil that she really got on board. She marveled at how well it removed her eye makeup and longwear foundation and also enjoyed the faint camellia fragrance.

(I excitedly told her that it's the same makeup remover that Saoirse Ronan uses, but she didn't seem to care.)

Before I managed to get her into oil cleansing, I steered her towards this cleanser since it removes makeup well without overstripping the skin. She's made it through half the bottle at this point and continues to use it in conjunction with the Tatcha now.
