How to Exfoliate Your Nails
Exfoliating your nails is a simple yet effective way to promote nail health and vitality. There are two main methods to achieve this: chemical exfoliation and physical exfoliation.

For chemical exfoliation using products containing AHAs or BHAs such as glycolic acid or salicylic acid. The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner, $13, is particularly effective for nail rejuvenation. It helps in removing dry skin, minimizing hangnails and promoting healthy cuticles. Apply the product to your nails, massaging it in with circular motions, and rinse off according to the product's instructions. Alternatively, you may leave it on as directed. Finish off with cuticle oil and hand lotion to keep your nails hydrated and healthy.

Alternatively, you can opt for physical exfoliation, remove the nail polish if you have any, later use a scrub. After washing your hands, apply the scrub to your nails and cuticles, gently massaging in circular motions for 2-3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, then follow up with buffing, cuticle oil and a nourishing hand cream to lock in moisture.
