Best. (Tinted) Dry Shampoo. Ever.
There are quite a few tinted dry shampoos out there, but I've always preferred the clear (or, let's be honest, white-ish) formulas. Even though I have to vigorously blend them to make them disappear into my dark hair, it's better than getting brown residue on a white shirt or pillowcase.

The new Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo, $26, which comes in a dark and a light version, is completely different. The color is barely noticeable, but it's enough to make the product disappear instantly. And the blonde option has a slight purple undertone to make color look even brighter. There's no residue, it has the signature Moroccanoil scent, and it leaves hair soft and fresh -- not crunchy. And I'm not worried about my outfit or sheets when I use it.

The Ultimate Hybrid Lip Product
I can be painfully indecisive. (If I weren't hesitant to admit my astrological leanings, I'd chalk it up to being a Gemini.) In the beauty realm, this generally manifests itself as an inability to commit to a lip product. At any given time, I have a dozen balms, stains, lipsticks and glosses rolling around the bottom of my bag.

But then I came across Boots No7 Shine and Tint, 9.99, which is basically everything in one. It glides on like a gloss, it feels like a balm, it has as much pigment as a lipstick and it lasts like a stain. (I put it on before eating a piece of avocado toast, and it stayed put.) Plus, the UK brand is now available at Walgreens and Duane Reade. Geminis rejoice.

Bang-Styling Brush
I recently got bangs for the first time in my life. (If you remember this story where I tried on fake bangs and decided I shouldn't get them, then you're probably wondering what the heck I was thinking.) As I'd always feared, bangs are not my friend -- I have very wavy hair and multiple cowlicks.

The first time I styled my bangs, I used a paddle brush and a round brush and an array of hot tools, and I looked like a Muppet (think Miss Piggy circa 1989). The second time, I used the Sonia Kashuk Art of Makeup Small Hair Brush, $12.99, and my bangs were saved -- they looked almost like the Dakota Johnson fringe of my dreams. The brush is the perfect size, it grips short hair and it's flat but not too flat. Plus, it's part of Sonia Kashuk's Art of Makeup collection, which is absolutely stunning. Whether you have bangs or not, you'll love this brush.

Skinny Brow Saver
I've been trying to get my brows to grow for years. (I've written about my filling-in technique ad nauseam.) And I'm finally (finally!) seeing a change thanks to Luzern Laboratories Brow and Lash Serum, $125. The serum is packed with keratin-stimulating peptides, niacinamide for blood flow and a soy and wheat germ complex that slows the shedding process. It comes in a lip gloss-like tube that makes it really easy to dab it on before bed. And while I haven't been using it on my lashes (my brows need all the help they can get), the clinical tests show great results there, too. Brooke Shields, I'm comin' for ya.

A Truly Natural Tint
The Lilah B. Divine Duo Lip and Cheek, $46, looks (and feels) like a beautiful, shiny white rock plucked from a babbling brook. Inside the hefty packaging you'll find a superpigmented yet moisturizing cream color that's perfect for lips and cheeks. The formula is completely natural (free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and all the other baddies), and packed with aloe and agar. But really, this new brand had me at their tagline: "With less, you are more." It's not exactly how I live (especially when it comes to beauty products), but it's definitely aspirational.

It's finally spring. And that means it's time to celebrate with a spring beauty shopping bonanza.

Can't swing an all-out spree? Not to worry. I narrowed down all the new beauty products launching in April to the essential eight. From the ultimate lip gloss-balm-stain hybrid to a cleansing conditioner that's so good it will convert the most fervent shampoo lover -- these are the must-buy beauty products you need for spring.
