From a tiny cocktail shaker of lip gloss to the fluffiest whipped conditioner, there are so many amazing new beauty products to fall in love with this month
Because my hair is fine, I'm particularly concerned with hair thinning and scalp health. And Keranique is an interesting brand because the products were formulated for the scalp first and the hair second -- the rationale being if you have a healthy scalp, you'll have healthy, beautiful hair as a result. My new obsession is the Keranique Micro-Exfoliating Follicle Revitalizing Mask, $45, which removes buildup and exfoliates the scalp while leaving hair soft with tons of volume. It also contains special proteins and a keratin amino complex to protect against breakage, but, like I said, the hair benefits are secondary. The incredibly clean, smooth, refreshed scalp feeling is everything.

Neck Cream to Feel Good About
Ever since reading Nora Ephon's "I Feel Bad About My Neck," I've been worried about keeping my neck as youthful as possible. Then, "tech neck" became a thing (the neck wrinkles you get from looking down at your phone), and my paranoia went into overdrive. Fortunately, Roc Multi Correxion 5 in 1 Chest, Neck and Face Cream, $27.99, is here to calm my fears. It's specifically formulated for thin neck and chest skin, and it has five benefits: helping with moisture, radiance, firmness, lines and sun damage.

Tiniest Hair Tie
In case you missed it, I have fine hair. And one of the most depressing things about having fine hair is the so-scrawny-it's-practically-invisible tail I'm left with when I wear a braid. The end of my braid is so pathetic, it's nearly impossible to tie it with anything other than a bit of string or a braces elastic -- neither of which leaves much room for styling options.
The Invisibobble Nano, $6.95, was created especially for skinny braids, fine hair and delicate hairstyles. This tiny spiral hair holder has tons of grip and can be used in countless ways. Plus, it makes a scrawny braid tail look so much happier -- and never creased.

Hawaii in Your Shower
Bath and Body Works Waikiki Beach Coconut Shower Gel, $12.50, mentally takes me to Hawaii -- and that's reason enough to love it. It also happens to contain aloe, shea butter and vitamin E, and the fragrance is a blend of everyone's favorite beachy scent (coconut, of course) with pretty passionflower and warm sandalwood. I see a trip to Hawaii in my future -- every morning while this body wash lasts.
April is the first full month of spring, and the same way it's a time of rebirth in nature, there are countless new beauty products emerging. I narrowed down the best new beauty products launching in April to just the essentials -- because everyone needs a hair-rejuvenating scalp scrub and a miniature hair tie that looks like a telephone cord. All joking aside, there's so much to love about each of these new beauty products -- you'll want to run out and buy them all.
